Herman Rambow

I agree with Craig's value, but it still doesn't tell me if the cue is for sale or not. I would like to know a price for this cue even with the posibility of it NOT being a Rambow. If it were to be confirmed to be an original H.Rambow then i know for a fact I'd love to have it locked up in my safe.

The cue is not for sale. If I wanted to sell it I would of posted it in the For Sale section. I just wanted to share some pics with those interested. This is a cue that you lock in the safe because no matter what its worth right now in this less than stellar market....it'll be worth a lot more in future years.:)

Value

The last one I was offered was under 1200 and had the owners name on both shafts and the butt. That was 2 years ago. Your cue has few issues and one origional shaft so $1200 minimum with a authenitification that I think it really doesn't need. Also I will have to look again but the butt plate is not the usual ivory bullet but still is ivory. So to some that might add $500 but then again to others it might be a turn off.
So from my limited experience $1200 might be a fair price if Paul Rubino authinticates the thing up to 50% more.
But I would think a Rubino authentication would be the only way to go. One of mu buddies bought one under $800 not to long ago. They can be had for bargains if you get lucky!
Good luck
Nick :)
