Not long after I first started playing pool about 15 or 16 years ago, I went to a tournament at the Howard Johnson in Greensboro, NC and saw you and Johnny Archer and a bunch of others playing. Do you remember it? And if so, what was it's name and who won? It was the first time I ever saw you play and it was so cool to see the pros play live for the first time.

BTW, I'll be playing in the US Open this year (fulfilling a lifelong dream) and hope to meet you and some of the other pros and get some autographs and sme tips on playing maybe. Thanks a bunch!

Doug, I do remember being at that tournament, but I can't remember who won it. After the tournament, a bunch of us went out to the golf course and most of us had a blast.

I'm looking forward to the 2004 U.S. Open myself. Hope to see you there. Come on up and introduce yourself. I look forward to meeting you! :)
