Sir Eatsalot said:Hey Jim, what can I say? If you got good taste you're gonna get copied and I believe that cue is a sign of good taste. Not to worry though, I like the colors but would seek to alter the design somewhat or maybe alot. And besides, I live in Texas, never enter tournaments, seems like I hardly even get to play; few would really even see any of my cues. It's all you, man, it's all you.
JimBo said:I never said it was my cue , only that I hand a hand in it's creation and purchase, I did get to see the cue in person this weekend and as Paul said it's awesome. Murray is one hell of a cuemaker and an artist, if and WHEN he decides to come out of the closet (oppps I mean retirement) I will be right at the top of the list. I just feel when people start stealing cue ideas it makes other people not want to share the pics in the first place. I don't agree with that imitation is the sincerest form crap...

I can only imagine the nasty dust from those woods. LOL
I'm aging a madagascar rosewood now in hoping I can v-point it with figured olivewood or tulip . I'll prolly have to wear a full-on respirator and body suit when turning it.
Thanks for the tip Murray.Murray Tucker said:I have have a bunch of bois de rose (aka madagascar rosewood). Used it in several cues. Beautifull wood but the dust will stain everything within a mile of your shop. Make sure your dust collector is tuned up.
Use it with light woods and it will keep you on your toes.

You are one lucky guy. That was my favorite cue on Murrays website before it came down.
