Hi,

It's quite possible that many of you won't have noticed, but this has been a week of cataclysmic proportions for us at Pro9.co.uk.

Pro9's web-hosts going bust was not fun, and left a lot of people without their daily fix of vitamin Pro9 - and that can be fatal apparently, but never fear because...

Welcome back everyone.

It was a really catastrophic experience as we've lost all the old articles and photographs, BUT... On the basis that all news is good news, let's look on the bright side... All the player profiles survived (thanks to Pro9Goddess) and there will be plenty of space for new articles and interviews.

An excellent opportunity for a new and improved fresh start for Pro9.

Please sign up as a new member to be able to access the full benefits of the website, and thanks again for your support.

All the best,
Big Dave.

Cool, I went there looking for comments after Daryl Peach's win and saw it was down.

btw: I hope you don't mind if I paste this great post from Daryl Peach that he put on the pro9.co.uk board on his return. It really captures the importance of his achievement:

Hi guys, i just wanna thank everyone whos text me, rang me, emailed me, and left messages on this site to congratulate me
If i was being honnest, its the toughest thing ive ever done!!...and as you can imagine its much harder when you are putting your OWN money up!..and at $2,000 + flight + hotel + food/drink its not cheap!!!!!
But, i had a sneaky feeling about this one from the match against Takanaka (Japan) that i was gonna do it...i ran a 5 pack in this match, then a 5 pack against Alciade (Spain), then two 4 packs against Hybler (Czec), then a 5 pack against Schmidt (Germany), and finally another 5 pack against Takami (Japan)!!!
I felt a little sorry for Takami afterwards as he has lost in 3 finals!!
I wanna thank Imran Majid, Tony Drago, and Mark Segal for staying till the death to offer thier full support....thanks guys!!!!

Its also a nice warm feeling to prove DOUBTERS and people who knock you wrong....AGAIN!!!
...but i suppose deep down these people mean nothing to me.

A huge thanks goes to my wife to be Lesley, and my parents for being behind me 100% all the way.
I would also like to make a special thankyou to Les Dodd for convincing me that i should play in these qualifiers and giving me his support!!

A big congratulations goes to Mr Alciade for qualifying and playing some super pool all weekend.

Once again guys, thanks to all of you who have given me support and been behind me for this....this means a lot to me and i wont forget it.

D4RYL.

My god, how many packs can a guy run in a tournament:) Sounds like Daryl was certainly on his A game in Weert. Thanks for letting us know the site is back up again Dave.

We're slowly managing to get back to normal, thanks.

To be honest, the IPT without Daryl would be unthinkable - he is fascinating to watch and devastating to play.

Damn right, seems Daz was Breaking and Running at 60%+ for the last qualifier, which is about 15% better than Manalo did and twice as often as the average top 10 at the KOH.

I expect he'll be enthusiastically followed and well rewarded this year!
