Welcome 9 Ball Girl. CCB has turned in to a love fest again and this place is a little more fiesty. Have fun and we are determined to see you in Va Beach.....got to find someone who can watch our dogs.....we have a fenced in back yard now, a 4 and 1/2 by 9 in our barn, so things are looking up.

Hi Ray. I can't wait for VA myself. You and Laura are still on my CCB list.

Welcome 9 ball girl. You might get the feeling of deja vu every once in a while from hanging out both here and BD. We are all a bunch of fun here too though, so visit often.

Take care,
Sarah

Thanks Sarah! I'll be visiting very often!

9 ball girl,

Welcome! Please stop by often.

I used my Jassic photo enhancer so I could see the design on your arm.

It's a tat of the Dominican crest (the symbol right in the middle of the Dominican flag). My other tat is a tiger (I love 'em!). Anyway, here's a more detailed pic:

The 3 words in the blue banner say, "Dios", "Patria", "Libertad" (God, Patriotism, Liberty) The red banner portion reads "Republica Dominicana"

9Ball Girl at the US Open 2003

9Ball Girl is one of my favorite CCB posters and also has been a wonderful friend over the last 4+ years.

The US Open would not be the same without her being there.

Looking forward to the tournament again this year.

In the Picture below,

9BallGirl sitting next to some ugly guy from CT named JIM, Behind 9BallGirl is the East Coast cue hound Fred Agnir and next to him is "Tom In Cincy" <---the only one watching the match.

Awww, feelings mutual Tom! :)

Also, to my right, is Jerry Forsythe (Pool and Billiard photographer) and 2 seats to his right is none other than Eric.

I heard that Jean quit playing for good
Whatsup?

She quit playing professionally years ago. She still plays in the tourneys at the room she owns.

Too bad, because her quitting wasn't very good for women's pool at the time. I wonder how she would do at the WPBA tour nowadays ? Umm, somehow I feel I'm not the only one wondering about this... :)

Oh, welcome to the forum 9-ball girl !! It's always nice to have women around, so far this forum has been quite masculine and occasionally testosterone has filled some of the threads...

Plenty of us overseas posters as well to give a perhaps slightly different insight of things !

I ssseee....

She propablly figure, that she will make better living owning a hall.
I've never saw her playing, or maybe I saw and I don't realize it, but I really would like to see her in competition with A.Fisher. I've been watching Fisher's careera since 1993.

testosterone?

Hey, what's wrong with that. I get a shot every two weeks. That combined with those little blue pills and I can act like I'm 40 years younger :D :D

Later Pel (the dirty old man of the forum - and proud of it :p )

Hi all! I'm "new" here and just saying Hi to everyone. I'm a regular poster over at the Billiards Digest forum under the same name and always lurked over here. Sometimes it would be funny to see the same post here and again at BD and vice versa and wondering "where've I read that before?" LOL Anyway, here I am. :D

Hey 9 Ball Girl! That's an awesome pic--I guess Jean has some hidden talents we didn't know about.

Speaking of Jean, you mentioned that she plays in tournys in her home room--I'm just curious where her game is these days. There are some who say she could come back and defeat the likes of Corr and Fisher, but I am skeptical of that. If you've seen her play let me know what you think.

I used to be a regular at Amsterdam Billiards on the west side when I lived in NY.

welcome 9BG, it takes "balls" to post a pic of yourself, I think you're winning so far! :-)

Thanks Poolbum! Jean can certainly give Corr and Fisher a run for their money. Even though she doesn't play on a regular basis, the woman can play! She'll bring out her cues and put them together and IF and when she warms up, it's wing shots! Everytime I watch her put her cues together, the theme song from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly starts playing in my head. If you're ever around on a Thursday night, stop on by!
