Hi fellows!

Thanks for your help 12310bch! Looking forward to it ;) slang is entirely part a language (I'm not talking only about swearings, but informal words, idoms, phrases). When I teach English, I always add some room for slang in most of lessons. Because I guess that without knowing slang, you just go past a big part of a language. Whatever the language, whether it's your mother tongue or a foreign one, you always learn academic language at school but use other words mostly when speaking. That's why I consider it's important to teach beyond formal/academic language. And it's also a good thing when students get bored : teach them one or two slang words and you can see their eyes pop up, it's good for catching their attention back to the course ;)

Hey I'm glad to see some people here speak a little bit of froggie language hehe! :p Did you know that, when the United States got independent and had to vote for a national language, English was elected as the federal language beating French by just a little bunch of votes? Ah! I wonder what it would have been instead! But I'm glad English is the USA's national language because I would have no job right now, aha!! :p

About the French chicks, I'll make a call or put an ad for you Tramp Steamer - but I don't guarantee it'll work out! ;)

Quatsch83, my favorite game is 9-ball. It's the game I play the best and feel the most comfortable at playing. But I also enjoy 10-ball and 8-ball. I had some difficulty with 8-ball in the past, because I kept the stroke (long storke) I use for rotation games, and I was also confused with planning the right series of balls to make. But since a couple of months I've worked alot on drills involving a shorter, softer stroke to make small-path position play in a given area. And since then, I feel pretty much better at 8-ball and find it way easier than 9-ball. It's amazing how training on drills can change your play. Now at 8-ball, I don't make my brains smoke as before, making a plan of attack looks strangely obvious to me, because I got the right stroke for area position play. I'd also like to improve my play at 14.1 continuous. Unfortunately, nobody here really knows about this game, so I have no one to play, except my coach but he's moved now. I will have more opportunities to play this awsome game with him when I join his club next season. I should train this game more, but I prefer waiting until I get more free time to practice drills dedicated to this game.
