I love 'em all, but my ol'huebler hit best for me!

Just hopeing folks here can give me a history lesson or two! My C-18 is probably most collectable, but the guy I got from long ago replaced the chipped original buttcap with a local builder, so no clover logo, bummer! but it was done well. I want to get an original mcdermott sometime. It also has a 12.2 mm.shaft which is nice, but I like 13. I hear its worth a 'perty good penny now? Dont know the value of the L.T.D.Schon,or the age.The Huebler-Some ding-dong some years before me did a meucci-clear over on the wrap! the finish could use a re-finish from years of "good" use,the wrap would be done right then! Would like to have a 12.75mm.shaft for it(has 12.25mm.) All shafts are nice.. Thanx,A.J.

Re Huebler- you can e-mail Douglas Swinhart at doug@us-admins.com

Thanx Jim. Is he a member here, then I could ping/pm him here.My E-mail is being stupid! Did Huebler cues shut down completely?I thought Paul retired but his shop was stil running...Bummer! Thanks, Aaron

I don't know if he is a member. I tried to contact Huebler Industries a few months back and I beleive they suggested I email this gentleman, or possibly forwarded my info. He said Mr. Huebler was not in good health. He was helpful in answering my questions about my cue.

He e-mailed back, said Mr. Huebler "semi-retired", has a man helping him do limited production. Said he shuts down, then resumes...back & forth. I guess just isn't advertising production. He gave me his # so I could call reguarding my questions on my cue. I'll give that a try, but I get the feeling he wants to stay "low-key". Sure that if he wanted to advertise his operation he would, been doing this many years. Still like member input though, kinda dont want to bug Paul, he's got his reasons...A.J
