I just got back into playing pool after a 15 year break, and have heard alot of positive feedback about these forums. For the most part I have the layout figured out as well as the oh so popular search function. Just thought I would say a quick hello.

Game of choice was 14.1 when I started playing in northern NJ, now I am playing an 8-ball bar league out of the twin cities. I do a little bit of cue collecting ( nothing like some of the increadible collections here though ) as well as i'm going to try my hand at making joint protectors for myself and some friends on my lathe.

I think you will find a lot of good information and friends here. I grew up in Pompton Plains, NJ, where are you from?
 
I'm from the Twin Cities origionally, but I lived in NJ for about 8 years, I played pool out of Pool Time in Midland Park.
 
Welcome! I actually live in Minnesota right now, so I am a bit cooler then BVal!:smile:
 
hmmm i live in Minnesota too. That makes me totally awesome as well :D

14.1 you say? check out mnstraightpool.com if you are looking to play some in a league format.
