Hi I am looking for pool halls in central carolinas??? (moving)

Hi,

i figured this would be a good place to post and ask where the best pool halls were areound charlotte around 50 miles driving from there, i will probably be living in SC but right nearby. maybe Varney can tell me? or others , im looking for the best rooms for tournaments, leagues, and action of course!

Pick a town or city and I'll offer a thought or two.

50 miles south of Charlotte is mostly just open highway.

Whoops....I miss read that...Charlotte is what you want to know about I guess,my bad lol.

lol ok , i guess wherever you like to play? i know of a few places but i have not been up there in about 3 years, from concord to charlotte NC to columbia sc

The green room in Charlotte would be the place to start (pineville actually,so slightly closer to SC).

Breakers in rock Hill SC (about 20-25 mins directly south of Charlotte) has league dam about 4 nights a week,and stays busy with the tournys as well.There is a guy or two in there waiting for you to pop in and ask about some action.I promise lol.They have been waiting for a while.

Concord,I have know idea.
 
i played in a viking tourny at a place called "mothers" in charlotte a few years ago. it seemed like a nice joint.
 
yeah

yeah i been to mothers a few times..... they closed a few years back, for what reason i dunno. the place i use to play at in charlotte closed there also.
 
yeah the greenroom in charlotte........theres another place in mathews but i cant rememebr the name, varney knows it though. If you want to come another hour north theres cue and spirits in winston salem, and my new favorite room is shooters in greensboro.
 
The Green Room in Pineville (South Charlotte), Rack 'Em in Matthews, and Smokin Cue in northeast Charlotte. Also Grady Matthews just opened a new room in South Carolina less than an hour from Charlotte.
Let me know when you get in the area. I play and teach at the Green Room and would be glad to fill you in on the leagues and tournaments there.
