Hi ... I am WilleeCue

I am William Lee and my cueshop is WilleeCue.
I left the RSB NG as it got to be a bit much for me over there.
(Me being one of the big problems I guess)
Anyhow if I get out of line here just slap me once or twice and I will straghten up and fly right. Looks like Blud has been fielding cue questions and I cant think of someone more knowlegable about cues. He is a great guy, makes a killer cue, and is a dern good machine maker as well. I sure dont plan to steal his thunder (as if I could) but I might jump in and ask or answer a questions now and then.

Willie,
Great to see you again, it has been a while since you've been on here. This section of the forums is a really sweet deal. Blud, Mike Webb, BCM, Chris Hightower (just to name a few) have been slammin' away at questions and concerns about cue repair and cue building. Your inputs are more than welcome, everyone does things a little different, depending on the person and his shop.
What was your website address again?

Thanks and welcome back,
Zim

Enjoy the ride Wilie!
To break the ice, what's your favorite wood-forearm & handle combo?

welcome

Thanks for the welcome, Zim.
With all the high caliber talent around here I am just gonna kick back, enjoy the show, and try to learn something. This does indeed sound like a sweet deal.

Dont really have a website as such but my photo pages are:

http://home.earthlink.net/~willeecue

Been getting my butt kicked over on RSB for years ( justifiably no doubt) as I have thrown so much fuel on the fire I finialy burned myself. So ...I am just gonna tuck in my tail and play it very low key here and try my best not to make anyone mad at me. <g>

Gee .. I like something different like a solid ash butt (merry widow style) as the Ash is very resistant to warping.

I guess the combination I like best is Cocobolo forearm and butt sleve with a curley maple handle. But Bocote is nice also.

To many choices .. brain overload .. warning ... warning.

Willie, I've looked at all of you photos on the two links you gave us. Great looking cues WillieCue. How much are/was these two cues (photos attached)? I collect ebony and curly maple cues with various other woods and inlay material. Check out www.zimsrack.com "Cue Collection".
Thanks,
Zim

BEAUTIFUL CUES!! I love wrapless cues, your work is right up my alley. Do you have any cues in your current stock?

Why thank you Budda Jones. what a nice complement.
I did not come here with the intention of selling cues and have become a bit sensitive about talking business on an open forum. I am flattered that you think my work is nice. I enjoying sharing photos of cues with others and am always wanting to see something someone else has made. Especially a small cuemakers work. If you really are interested in owning a WilleeCue please use private email as I would rather not discuss that here.
Please keep in mind I am a very small operation and only make a few cues a month most of which are sold locally.

We talked about having something done here about an ash butt before but nobody started yet, guess got no time.

That's a killer combo, like that one too. I also like wrapless handles a lot.

Who kiss your butt at RSB???? :D

I'm all about cocobolo and curley maple. That is the config of my daily driver right now that was made by Jacoby. Coco forearm and butt, maple handle. I am getting an ebony/curly plain jane from Bryan Mordt of BCM cue, a reg on this site. Hope to get that in a few weeks. I'll send you a PM Will, wasn't trying to put you on the spot.

Buddha- the BCM cue will be very stunning, I'm sure! I'm jealous! You know ebony and curly maple cues are my favorite! be sure and let us see some photos. If you don't mind, but I understand if you do...how much for the BCM cue?

Thanks,
Zim

You know it, that was half the reason I was gonna make a move on it :D . J/K I moved to slow and it was sold under my nose  , so I gave Bryan another cue to make for me, similar design, but with tulipwood instead of the maple and some other secrets you will just have to wait and see! :p

Who the hell is this guy?!?!

You need to read the forum rules buddy.

I hope this is some sort of joke...

It is no joke.
it is a guy named Ben Ramsey.
He got mad at me cause I wouldn't deal with him and now is on some sort of a jehaid against me.

He was banned under his name Bama but I guess he snuk back in with an alias.

Ive been to willlees shop and hit with alot of his cues. Theyre great cues. I dont know who this joker is but it seems his panties are in a bunch over something. But it aint the cue's that for sure.
