Hello, I am new here and this is my first post. I ran across this forum somehow and I do say there is a lot of great info here. I work at a billiards and gameroom store in Texarkana, TX called Atlas Gameroom Store. I work as the mechanic/installer for all of the tables we sell and service. Reading through this forum I've seen some good insight and funny pictures of past hackwork that we have run into quite a bit as well. I've only been doing billiard work for the past year and I know I have a long way to go but have learned a lot in this time period.
I also run a vending route with quite a few Valleys. I like getting them playing great and earning well as a lot other vendors don't have the ability to.
The owner of the store used to manufacture pool tables in the early 90s and we still have a lot of the equipment around which we sometimes use to custom build stuff. We've tossed the idea around to kick back up production of some custom tables but we will see.
My main hobby is pinball; I've got a decent size collection and I enjoy tearing them down, rebuilding, and restoring them. They definately take a precedence over pool in the gameroom but that may change soon.
Anyway hope to learn some and take part in some good discussion here.
