Every company claims to make the best products and offer the most value. The consumer is left with an incredible job of sorting through these claims. Just how can a buyer decide which claims are really true? We have found that one way is to gather general information about the product you want to buy and then use your own common sense. In most cases, you will be surprised how easy it is to see the difference between products.
Tiffany style lighting has always been hand made and probably always will be, because of the nature of the product. It would be much too costly to develop a machine capable of cutting and assembling hundreds of pieces of glass into hundreds of different designs.

Hand made products require workers willing to produce these items. Today's market is filled with large volumes of mass produced hand made items, many of them come from China. Tiffany style lighting is one of these products. Although these Tiffany style lighting products are still being made by hand, there is a great difference between products made by hand, using assembly line workers and products that are "hand-crafted" by a single artist.

Reproductions of original Louis C. Tiffany designs abound on the market at prices ranging from a few hundred dollars to thousands. As with most reproductions the value is based on the buyer's desire for the design, since only the original is ever going to be a real Tiffany. Mass merchandising of these reproductions is everywhere along with hundreds of color variations of these same designs.

Our lights are made by hand similar to the way products were manufactured world wide prior to the Industrial Revolution. During this period of time Master Craftsmen trained apprentice workers in their specific skill and the trademark of each "master" was seen in products they created. Our staff of artists creates individual styles and then train their apprentices to duplicate the design. The apprentice learns from a master artist and works towards becoming a master himself. Each design becomes a "trademark" of the work being produced by these individual artists. This type of manufacturing has produced top quality products for centuries and continues to do so today.

We use American made materials. American made glass is considered to be the best in the world and is still made by "hand" using hundred year old formulas. These secret formulas and top quality material is what makes the colors brilliant and vibrant when the glass is lighted. Glass consistency is critical to the longevity of the product as well as the overall appearance. Formulas are protected with exceptional care since reproduction of the color may be needed far into the future to make repairs. One of the glass manufacturers we use does a great deal of restoration work for repairs to original Tiffany stained glass windows. Poor quality glass looks dull, has no life and rarely gives out much light. Having a Tiffany with American made glass is a major step in the right direction. In addition to being able to see and enjoy the beauty of the glass, you most likely will be able to have your light repaired if it were to get broken.

Tiffany style lighting should be more than just light, they were meant to be works of art. Like any other art, new designs and styles are critical. Modern furnishing and décor have mandated new designs along with demand for new concepts and application of glass. We have made a commitment to the needs of the consumer and have consistently introduced new designs appropriate to the changing trends.

For more than 30 years we have been designing the finest traditional, contemporary and original custom designs which continue to set trends in the industry. This consistency has been possible because we have a staff of talented artists who have devoted their skill and energies to the continuation of this unique art form. Years of experience is not always a guarantee of good quality but our company does offer a Written Guarantee against defect. We have a handcrafted product and good quality is our goal. No one is perfect but our commitment to you is that we will make every effort to correct the problem and meet your needs.
