Shafts I have: 314-3, Vantage, and Revo as well as Katana and multiple OB variations. Lucasi, Meucci, Pechauer, McDermott, Mezz, and even Schmelke's new LD. My Joss HP is the "Natural" one - no splices. Personally I put it up at the top of the list. Even a bit above my 314 which I love. Maybe not "above" my Revo - but opposite it - if you can kind of consider and "apples and oranges" thing with shafts. I had a fairly detailed conversation with Dan Janes regarding his HP shafts - and he said if he had to pick between the spliced one and the natural one - he'd likely go with the natural one. Admittedly I wanted it to come in at about 12.5 - which is safer to do with a non-spliced shaft - but I still think I made the right call. I'm not knocking any of the other shafts - not even the G-core, just my own personal preference. If you like old-school wood shafts - go Joss HP Natural. If you like something completely off the wall different - go Revo. Just my two cents.
