Watching the Efren stream it looks like their playing in a high school gym and thought it maybe a way to get the youth interested in pool and billiards. I know this would cost lot to set up tables in a high school but then the bleachers, good lighting etc. are already there. What are some thoughts on this and do you think this could be possible in some way. If this wouldn't work maybe when there is a regional event the promoters could promote in the nearby schools to draw interest from the kids. Give away raffle tickets for a cue, free pool time at a local poolroom, dvd's of pro matches, instructional, shirts etc. and if the interest is there who knows maybe a after school league or a summer camp of instruction at a discount for those who participate. Just thought I would throw this out there and hope it helps pool in the long run. Like my mother use to say "you never know if you don't try and if you fail at least you tried"!
