highest friction chalk

IMO magic chalk is the best chalk in the world, I tested many, maybe the second best for me is predator circle chalk and there’s one EU chalk which has a yellow paper but I don’t know it’s name, that is also good.

I had a box of magic chalk, I bought it from an AZer forgot his name, if you read this msg me I’d like another box, thanks.

Probably Triangle chalk. It is pretty good. Seems much more popular with 3C players than Masters but I think equally as good.

Dr. Dave has tested chalk more than any other person or entity that I know of.
All chalks he tested performed the same when chalk is applied after ever shot.

No chalk was superior to any other brand except for not having to apply as often.
But when you chalk after every shot, all chalks are the same other than cleanliness.

And if you have ivory ferrules, there isn’t any chalk stains. But the important point is not
finding a better chalk to use. It’s applying chalk correctly that so many players fail to do.

LOL. Except, certain premium brands covered the tip much better. That causes less miscues. Must be a reason some pro's play with premium chalk even when they are NOT sponsored by anyone. Why don't they just use any old chalk? Yes, they could be concerned with a dirty shaft, but most players it appears like a dirty shaft and they don't clean them nearly as much as league players. So, I don't suspect they use the premium chalk to keep the shafts clean. There must be another reason. Seems folks like the chalk to stick on the tip better. Gee, I wonder how that helps anyone? lol

Triangle, Masters, etc. I can’t tell the difference after playing for 52 years.
Ronnie OSullivan was asked after a match what chalk he used and he had to take the cube out of his vest pocket to check the brand.

I’m of the school that there isn’t a best chalk as much as it’s better to stick with what’s familiar. The cue, tip, chalk. I’ve used the same cue for 14 years and still on the same package of tips. I use Masters chalk because I once picked up 144 cubes for $10 on clearance.

re how to chalk. From early days I was instructed how chalk my Snooker cue. ‘Don’t drill it into the cube!’ The irony is the Filipinos at our pool hall grab the chalk, break the rule, ...squeak , squeak...then run the table.

Last night's league play there was this well scuffed cue-ball that was holding chalk. During the 1st round we had a H3LL of a time, object balls were as much as 1/2 diamond off at half table 10-15 degree shots.
I secretly switched the cue-ball before the next round. Within reason of being accurate, every angled shot went in.
Later on I needed some 'extra mustard on the hotdog' (cue-ball) and reached for my teammates Blue Diamond (I use 'Triangle' tan). I'll just say I'm now looking for Blue Diamond in Tan. But knowing why it's called Blue D' they don't make it in other colors... but I'll check.

 Apparently throughout my pool life I simply made subconscious adjustments for well worn pool balls.
👉 'Old Dog, New Trick'
I have a couple cubes of Babushka Tan (blonde) that's like 25+ years old now... or is it closer to 30???
ANYwho... I'll look for Triangle in Tan since my home table is Simonis Tan.
Is Silver Cup & Triangle chalks the same or is there a grip difference?
THANKS SO FAR for info... sure helps.
