no a fat guy from Stockton who hada brother named Johnnie. they were phillipino but looked hispanic. both played good not great.

AZB's own, Jungledude (Humphrey), has the reputation of betting it up pretty good around the NOLA area. He will match up too.

You're right about that, Hemi! I've watched Humphrey play $1500 per game one-hole, and $10K sets. Too bad he doesn't post stories on here much. I'm sure he's been in on some major money action.:cool:

True, Doc. Humphrey, put many of those war stories in his book, "The Green Felt Jumgle", a very good read for those who haven't had the pleasure.

Jay Helfert is right it's Tommy Soria and johnny Soria .There both playing pool in Stockton again after stints in jail. I think Tommy runs the tournament at the downtown pool room old Boyce's billiards not sure what it's called now something like Boba billiards ...

Several years ago, some thugs broke into his home and tried to rob him. The story about it was on some TV show. The thieves got scared off when they heard sirens outside. Luckily for Tooth, they were going to a call nearby. Someone on here may remember more of the details. Fatboy?

I forgot about that break-in(you just reminded me),all i remember is Domnick told me about it, it was when me and Dom were talking all the time. But I'm not a BSer and I dont remember the anything other than the obvious that they were shook up real bad and OK afterwards, I dont know if anything was stolen or any details. sorry, i dont make things up. i have a good memorie and EVERYTHING I will ever post here is true, thanks for asking Jay, nice to get re-aquinted again.

yeah thats him, I remeber now I called him "Tommy too fat" last time i played him in 92 he gave me the 7 ball, LOL i robbed him-i think he won a rack or two. there was no bad blood just a riverly.

Is his brother Johnnie out of jail yet? I know he went away for along time, he didnt play as good as Tommy, I was suprised he went away, he was a mellow guy, I dont know what it was for. couldnt have been much probly just alot of offences. Too bad.
