Chris I tried to pull up your site this morning and it tells me the domain has expired.

Yep, cuesmith.com has expired. Hightowercues.com is still alive.

I tried to buy it to secure it for Chris but it wasn't available. It must have been the hosting that was up, not the domain name.

The domain name will expire, but the registrar will usually not allow anyone to buy it for a month or two after expiration for problems like this that pop up. It's always in their best interest to keep their customers happy especially someone like Chris who has had the domain name for years.
