Need some info on Hill Cues. How do they play and all?

I've seen him show his cues at Pockets. I've never hit a ball with one but I believe Ike was playing with one for a while.

how ya been? i think that hill cues were at the midwest open. although i didnt get to see them, they sounded nice from what i heard. i know that didnt help much, but thats all i have. btw, i was at a local tourney on wednesday, and this guy i know named danny said he was playin some cards at shooters, and he then he won $40 against this real strong shooter named bobby romano, i was lmao. i was telling him how i know you and bob, and it sounded like he knows both of you as well. this guys pretty good, but i think bobs a better player. bob must have just had a bad night.

Hey! Always great to hear from you! Hows everything going? The Windy City Open will be the first weekend of January at Pheasant Run in St. Charles, IL. I have not announced the event yet because I am working on the different events. I hope you can make it!
Bob has good and bad days and $40.00 is tip change to him, so for him to be bragging about $40.00 he must have had a few good racks and quit on Bob just to say he won against him! Tell Danman that he is ready for a rematch ANYTIME!
Bob has had a termendous year, he has won several big titles and cashed in a lot of events. He is almost back to playing like he did years ago. I expect that we will be seeing a lot of him if he keeps going strong. He won a local event last night at Pro Tyme in Orland Park, against Ike Runnels hill/hill. That is where I saw the Hill cue, as Duane said, Ike was playing with it. Ike really likes it and it needs some more exposure.

Darren's cues play fantastic. I got to shoot around with Ike's cues and I must say that I'm impressed. Good solid, stiff hit. Hill's craftsmanship is one of the best I've seen from a "little guy". He does some really nice work. I'd say to give him a call. Mr. Leo at Chris's has his card. Unfortunately, I gave his card away, otherwise, I'd give you Darren's #. I'll see if I can call Ike and get it for you later. I'll pm you.

i kinda figured that danny got up a few and cashed. i also figured that either he was lucky, or bob was settin him up for the kill at a later date
im glad to hear that bob is shootin lights out.... thats a great feeling. next time you guys go to red shoes, pockets, or close to indiana, let me know and ill come out to visit. im only 4 miles into indiana, so those places are close by. there was a hall in joliet that ive been to with sarah rousey and i cant remember the name of it. it was on the second floor and i think there was a restaurant below it. anyways.... good to hear from you, and ill definately be there in january. ttys, joey

That hall is called The Loft. Amy Latzko, (one of the strongest amateur women players in the US) works there.
Pro Tyme Billiards in Orland Park, IL is one of the nicest pool halls in IL or I would go on a limb and say THE NICEST place in IL. It really focuses on the players and the non players. I as a non player, I love it there. It has a ventilation system that clears smoke out so it is like being in a smokeless environment. There is a coffee cafe with a good selection of munchies. It is located off I 80 North to 159th Street Right and then to 94th Ave Left and the Hall is in a strip mall on the right.
Bob said to tell you to come and play anytime, table time on him. We would love to see you. He also said to tell Dan man to come on down and give him a chance to win his money back, lol!
