Hello ,

I heard that several of these were made and sold,
I was wondering if anyone would care to share their thoughts on
How well they work.

I would be very greatful if anyone would share their experience
With this saw via a PM.

Thank you.

Please post it here so we all can read. If it's good stuff then more could be sold. I would love more info also. Thanks

Hi,

I was around Darrin's shop while he conceived and built those machines. They work great.

I think he built 5 or 6 of them but they were very expensive to most people at about 1200.00 or 1300.00 as I recall.

The mini table saw he used was very solid and cost just under 500.00 and could tilt to obtain the 90 degree cut angle. All the cheap saws do not have the tilt feature. Add the expensive high end linear guide rails and pucks plus the parts Darrin had to mill and it got expensive.

If you look at Darin's point work on his FS and half splice cues 1200.00 is well worth it because this machine was very easy to operate as Darin cooked up a very simple and effective design.

If you can get a hold of one, go for it would be my advise.

If you call Darin, you might be able to get him to build one for you but it may cost more these days I would think. Bullet proof design though.

JMO,

Rick
