His lips are moving... More CJ stories

I love his stuff. He's been there/done that in this game. Saw him play in late 80's/early 90's and i've never seen anyone other than maybe Earl pocket balls like that. They all looked automatic.

just telling his stories of hustling on the road. all good hustlers at least the ones that made money and kept it, do things to help their own cause.

When I lived in Memphis the players there told about CJ coming to town to gamble. He played a local shortstop (great player) and CJ lost his entire bankroll, then played using his Gus Szamboti as a stake, and then after losing that, played using a Balabushka for the next set and lost that too. I tried to get either or both of those cues but wasnt able to get them.

CJ is like most folks that gamble, they always share great stories when they win, and they dont mention all the incredible losses they had along the way.

of course we all self promote to some extent.
he is trying to make money after all from his videos.

and most all gamblers make poor choices on when to quit. that limits their net worth a lot.

I saw CJ take one of his losses in the western suburbs of Chicago….Bustie hammered him.
….but he ended up owning a million dollar business and ran a great tournament……he’s a striver.
