I know there are a lot of PIN Sizes, personally I like the 3/8" x 10, and Radial Pins. My buddy had a BENDER and honestly it seem like every time I put the Cue together, it was a day long affair.

Question is when did the Radial come on the Pool Scene, and what is you personal favorite PIN, and why.

I believe the radial pin was adapted from a medical pin used to connect human bone. In cues it eliminates the sharp edges in the female threads that almost always chip off. I like it a lot and have used it since the first time I tried it. I believe Bill Stroud can be credited with bringing it to the attention of cue makers. First one I saw in a cue was maybe 12 to 15 years ago.

Bet an orthopedic surgeon charge a whole bunch more for their radial pins than a cuemaker for theirs, wonder if the surgeon get them from one of the cuemakers supplies?

I bet he orders surgical gloves from Atlas too.
And glues.
