I like the inlays....poa or abalone. I like the shafts sans ferulles. I'm beginning to think ferulles are unnecessary for a playing cue

Whoaa... first up .. gorgeous cue.. n merry xmas to all !!

But whats that "ferule-less" ferule u were saying, what are the benefits ??
Will it result in lower deflection ?? More power ?

Good morning Cezar, and Merry Christmas.I was joking of course about 'Kantseeum' ferrules, but here is my take on ferrules these days.I was not a fan of low deflection shafts until a couple months ago when I got a new player with short 'through ferrules' or capless ferrules where the shaft wood (the tennon) comes up through the ferrule,You could call them 'capless' too.The shafts play great and there is virtually 'no squirt' I was playing with a very good custom cue prior to the LD style and there is NO comparison. The cue ball goes EXACTLY where I aim it.My game improved a lot and so did my level of confidence.I am becoming convinced that ferrules are not needed.I have a custom cue in the works and the shafts will have short (1/2 inch) capless ferrules.Just for a nice appearance.I am 'old school' and I like the look of ivory ferrules, but now I am seriously considering 'ferruleless' shafts.Just my opinion of course, but I hope this helps. The way of the future, may be ferruleless shafts. We will have to wait and see how the cue building industry evolves.

Happy Holidays & a great New Year!

Yet again, another master piece from that Sly guy :p

Outstanding work, love the veneer colors and and overall design of this beauty. Super congrats to you sir and a shout out to for being a big part of showcasing the amazing work my homie Leon is capable of.

Best,
Mo

Happy Holidays Jose. Beautiful cue!

You need to have Leon make you a matching 10mm shaft with a metal ferrule for when you hit the 6x12'. :)
