How about a special for trading in another brand of jump break cue to upgrade to a X Breaker ?
Nice Avatar!:)

With a lot of 2nd generation products, customers need to find a way to sell their old products in order to add more cash to buy the new version. This whole process can be very frustrating and time consuming.

I have decided to make this offer to make things easier for my valued customers who are interested in upgrading to the latest X breaker .

I am very sorry, this offer will only apply to upgrade of X breakers:)

Richard, What if we do not have the original receipt? I rarely buy new items this is one of the first "new cue" I've bought in a long time. I didn't think to keep the receipt. Also I purchased it from beads and billiards which I think is now billiards 911 but they are not listed anymore on your authorized dealers page.

Funny you should mention this. I was just about to list my first Gen Xbreaker (pin number 331) this evening to upgrade to the Samsara ones. Is there a way for me to upgrade without the receipt? I probably can't do it till mid/end January due to the holidays.

Hi Twilight,

I remember you posting a review on Az when you received your X Breaker from Beads and Billiards. :) Thank you once again for that positive review.

When you send in your X Breaker, please include a note that says you are Twilight from Azbilliards.com and email me for a return number to post on your box.

Usually, I would prefer a receipt form Paypal or I will confirm your name with the vendor whom you purchased your X Breaker from. In this case, I remember you very clearly, I also remember you have submitted a lot of entries/designs/diagrams in the X347 thread.

Please have your original X Breaker sent to:

Xtreme Billiard
C/O Richard Chan
1574, Gulf Road, Point Roberts, WA, 98281

This upgrade is for a no wrap ebony X Breaker for only $195, but you can also pay the price difference to upgrade to the golden oak style, or one with a leather wrap.

I am quite swamp here due to the Christmas seasons. On top of that, there are lots of requests for this upgrade. I have put aside a batch for this offer, but please understand that I have to be firm about the deadline because I will very likely be very short very soon.

Thank you very much for your continuous support of the X Breaker. It is my great pleasure to upgrade your X breaker to the latest X Breaker built by Samsara.:) Please let me know when you are ready.

Happy holiday seasons,
Richard

How about giving all the tradeins to the troops in Iraq an Afganistan. Now that would be a great Christmas gesture on your part an I'm sure deeply appreciated by all recipients. You can do it Richard!!!!!!!!!

Pino,

:)

That is a nice idea. Although I am not an American (I am a Canadian):) , I really admire the sacrifice and committment the American soliders have displayed. I am sure they miss their families during the holiday seasons, and they could use every single support they can get. They will be in my prayers.

I do agree that this is a kind gesture and suggestion, perhaps Mike of Az can organize something like that so all those who want to donate to the troop, such as yourself, can do so. I think it was done before a couple years back.

Thank you once again for your suggestion.:)

Happy holidays,
Richard

I'm not sure if you're being serious, but I'll assume you are.

Reading Richard's offer, I sense that there is a desire to present his best product to the public...and that is the latest Samsara Xbreaker. If he donates the older generation Xbreakers, or sells them, or leaks them back into the market for whatever reason, it defeats part of the purpose. This is just my opinion.

-Roger (what is the average soldier going to do with a break cue in Iraq?)

It is true. This is not an offer that I want to make money off, it is done in order to make it easier for my valued customers to have the best version of X Breakers in their hands.

I do feel for the soliders, they must really miss their families. May them all come back home safely.:)

I would suggest those who are interested in organizing a donation to start a new thread about it. I remember it was done a couple years back, and there were lots of response.

Regards,
Richard

The same thing they would do witha J&G or a Varney. What does being a Canuck have to do with it would be my question. You are on here 24/7
seeking the American dollar. Your avatar says Japan, Canada, and USA. I
would think a dozen cues wouldn't be that much to ask. But before I asked somehow, I knew the answer was going to be NO.

Concerning your statement, Roger, leaking them into Iraq and Afghanistan, i don't see how that is going to upset anybody's apple cart. The only thing I can see happening is putting a smile on a few deserving people's faces. I donated to the Tsunami relief, but I'm not Indonesian. Did I do the wrong thing?

I think you are insane. You're bashing Richard for not donating old, used, second-rate Xbreakers to our soldiers in Iraq?

Nothing. He didn't say it did. He said that even though he's a Canadian, he admires the effort that our American troups are giving. That wasn't an answer to your question. It was a salute to our troups.

I don't think you did the wrong thing. I'm not sure what this has to do with anything either, however.

I'm reading a Holiday Special for AZBilliards. Is there something the rest of us are missing? Should the war effort and donations to that cause be discussed in this forum? It's a sensitive issue that would be better discussed in the NPR forum, IMO.

??????

This will be my last post concerning this matter as I am not trying to hijack this thread. All i asked for was a donation for the troops. If that makes me insane, i am truly guilty. Roger, do you think I should seek professional help? If so, could you please refer me to anyone you know or you have personally dealt with. Just my opinion, but i think you are nuttier than two fruitcakes. Thanks for your reply. God Bless our troops!!

hi everyone,

It is a thread about an upgrade to those who already owns a X breaker. As you all know, a lot of companies have come up with 2 nd generation version of their products, but I do not believe anyone has ever offered an upgrade option to their customers.

I understand the agony and hassel of having to sell an old product and then come up with the cash to buy a new one. So, I have decided to charge the price more or less equals to a refinish job plus shipping for this upgrade. I really want everyone to feel proud of his/her x breaker. Thank you for your support.

My offer will honor all used x breaker from an authorized dealer from the original customer regardless of condition. I know a lot of people might be a bit tight with cash before Christmas so I am extending this offer till the end of Jan 2007.

Thank you very much for all those who have emailed me about the upgrade offer, I am so glad you are taking advantage of this limited offer.

I would like to wish you all a very happy holiday seasons.

Regards,
Richard

P.S. I appreciate the kind and nice suggestion of a donation very much. For the record, I have never said either yes or no to the suggestion, because I believe charity is a personal and private endeavour. Thank you.

I completely agree with just about everyone's statements in defense of the Xbreaker. This thread is about upgrading a product, not about the war. There's no reason to use the term Canuk, though fairly harmless to some, it does imply that you'd rather insult someone who doesn't share your sentiments. You shouldn't expect others to have your same expectations. That's unreasonable. I don't expect people to support all my beliefs either. As an american I support US troops but I'm not going to call someone something derogatory because they don't share my opinions.

This is a great deal Richard -I love new cues!!- look for my first generation X soon.

Great idea Richard and another good gesture on your part to show the fantastic customer service you have and your loyalty to your past customers.

You rock Richard!!!

(bringing the war into this is damn ridiculous, has absolutely nothing to do with this.)
