According to a story today at www.worldsnooker.com

TODAY CARDIFF…TOMORROW HOLLYWOOD?

Ronnie O’Sullivan may soon be swapping green baize for celluloid and the small table for the big screen – but he’s happy to stick to snooker for now after a strong start to the Welsh Open.

The Rocket barely broke sweat in Cardiff tonight (Wednesday) as he saw off Michael Judge 5-0 to reach the last 16 of the LG Electronics Tour event. The former world champion then revealed that he has been offered a role in a film about snooker.
“Acting is something that has appealed to me before but I’ve never pursued it,” said the charismatic Essex man. “Then someone approached me about playing a role in this film. I’m waiting to see the script and talk to people about it, but it could be interesting.”

Anyone heard about this movie?

Colin,

Thanks for the news but snooker is out for me. The sport abandoned the women. Turned them all into 9-Ball players. LOL
On Teddy's new 9-Ball tour and sent them over here in the states to play.

A movie about snooker what a joke? Hollywood has been trying to find new material for years. A snooker movie would only prove they have hit rock bottom. Paul Hunter could star in it? His eye shadow runs down on his face when he is sky sports.

Go see my Jennifer Chen Fan Site it is more interesting than a movie about snooker.

Jennifer and Ga-Young Kim will be at Sam's Town for the WPBA opener and I will send photos if all goes well.

Cheers,

Gremlin,
I've tried you Jen Chen site but AOL is blocked by China:(

I do have a photo of myself with Jennifer from a month back. Shoot me an email at Colin (at) hamcorp.com if you want to see. Saves me searching through a thousand emails to find your address which may not be the latest.

btw (at) means @ but I don't want spamming spiders to catch my email address.

Best regards,
Colin

ps: I still have regular practice sessions with the 2 Chinese female stars Pan Xiao Ting (Angela Pan) and Zhou Meng Meng (Mandy Zhou). I gave both of them their English names:-)

Colin,

You lucky dog! Training two champions now. What a great thrill it must be for you? So I will look forward to seeing (Mandy Zhou) and (Angela Pan).

Sorry you can't get through to my Jeniffer Chen Site. When you see Jennifer next, maybe you will see her before me, tell her I put up the fan site till she gets her Web Site back as it is down for maintenance. I haven't been in touch with Jen as she is always on the road(you know busy).

Yes, I understand about the security. Some spam shop in Hong Cong broke through my security fire wall and stole my password.
Used it to send out hundreds of loan mail to my AOL buddies with my screen name on it. I will be in touch with you some way even if it is by cell phone.

Hey, mate Kelly Fisher, Wendy Jans, Val Finnie, and maybe Leynette Horsberg of the old Women's World Snooker crew will be here in the states to try and Qualify for the WPBA thru the Regional Tour System. A lot of Historical Pool Happenings on the East Coast of the US this season. Best Wishes. Photo of Jen for you.

Cheers,

Gremlin
Gremlin,
It is great playing with the girls. Mandy, just 15yo, if you didn't know recently won the Queen of Asian pool which was a Taiwan invitational playoff between Angela Pan, Jennifer Chen and Liu Shin Mei (Last year's world champ). Mandy and Angela stand out as clearly the best females in China. I hope they can join all the legends in the US in the next year or so. A bit of red tape to jump over and their English still needs a lot of work.

I've no doubt they are top10 level, but to see if either of them will become a champion, they need to jump into the testing pot and get more real competition experience.

Won't be hard to keep in touch...I'll be around:D

Cheers,
Colin
