Homemade Copy Lathe

Hi Everybody,

I have a grizzly wood copy lathe that I have used to thin out a butt made from a house cue when I was making a sneaky Pete over 15 years ago, but I came across this and thought some of you may enjoy.

I was hoping it may help inspire someone. I'm really surprised the saw blade is handling the axial load against the side of the blade.
 
I like his statement " some sandpaper will take care of the grooves " left by the blade....hope he has a lot of sandpaper....those grooves were pretty large..
