Is there a jig out there that will let you mark the triangle lines on new recovered tables. I have been trying to figure how to do this and get them the same on all my 8, 9ft tables at my pool room ?

thanks

The only jig you need, is a trangle rack. The problem with this, is that you need to be using the same racks on every table, or the triange rack lines won't match the racks being used.

rack jig

Yeah,
thats what i`ve been doing for years, just trying to find an easier way.
and it probably wouldn`t line up the same on every table.

Mickey,
As a thought, if you're using the same racks then try this. Take 2 racks, 1 for 9fts, and 1 for 8fts. Drill from the inside of the rack, facing the end rail, and mound a piece of plywood that'll space the rack from the point of the cushion to exactly the same distance out on every table. Make the plywood as wide as one side of the rack. Then mark a center line on the plywood that'll center the rack on the table side to side. Then all you have to do is place the rack/jig on the table, center it side to side, trace a line around 2/3rds of the rack, remove the rack/jig, place another rack on the table lined up with the lines already drawn, then finish the outline. Off to the next table.
