I'm thinking about buying a honey brown lizard wrap from Castillo leather goods, just wondering if anyone has any info on these wraps (looks, feel, durability). $45.00 seems like a great price. Also the cue I want to put it on has no wrap on it now. How much on average will it cost to have it installed?

Any info,anyone

i met gil at the gem city this year and he is a great guy that has some very sweet products. the look and feel of his wraps is amazing. i don't have one yet so i can't speak to durability. as far as how much to put on, you'll have to find a cue maker in your area. steve lomax here in atlanta does all of the work on my cues but i've never had him do a leather wrap. it was 45 to do a linen one so you'll be north of there. make sure who ever does it is reputable because if they f*ck it up, you're out the cash for the wrap unless they are willing to reimburse you.

Since you're considering buying the wrap from Castillo, why not just ask them for a quote on installation?

There's a couple of shops by me I'll take it to. I was just wondering what's the going rate to have a wrap installed. Can anyone tell me about the lizard wraps?
