ok, i know this is the wrong place to put this but it seems to be the most visited section of the site...

with the Asian 9-Ball tour starting 3rd week april and with Manila / Taiwan hosting so many money matches recently, i wanted to just say if any of you are touring through Asia, do drop me a line if Hong Kong is on your agenda ...

it would be nice to meet any pool enthusiasts ... HK has such a small pool community and visitors are aways welcome

most of them are in the cue gallery .. i have 2 coming in today and one more in about 3 weeks .. will take a "group photo" and post it up at that time ...

I have had the pleasure to play with most of Kam's cues, all exquisite with different styles and types of hit. All are 1st class and are kept in immaculate condition.

ok ... will buzz you but i only ever travel with a predator ... too many horror stories of stuff getting lost and / or damaged en route ...

any recommendations where to go ?

If there is one place to go, it'd be Klassic. I'm not sure of the name of the building it's in --- I think it might be called Textile Center. Other Singaporeans, feel free to correct me or add info.

There you'll find a hotbed of Singaporean pool pros, because that's the main area they congregate to practice and socialize. At least 10 full-size snooker tables, 20+ pool tables, very well maintained equipment, a mini-bar (no alcohol) and lots of spectator room. All our best players are there and it's easy to get games if you wanna be competitive.

It's such a pity you won't bring a more fancy cue than the predator....

if i were coming just to play pool, i would probably have brought the southwest but as i said, i will be in meetings all day and it's all very ify whether i will get time...

BUT on the other hand, some of our club players are trying to organise a friendly HK vs Spore match .. if that works out, will probably bring a couple of cues down

perhaps if i have time, we can discuss it and organise a weekend tournament ....

Just the man i had in mind!

Well Kam. If you do come, we can have nice simple dinner of local cuisine followed by a night of Pool and cues and nothing else except for maybe some laughs and drinks in a nice cosy pool hall. How does that sound.

But i do need some advance notice as i am tied up with some tourneys these couple of days.

Singapore is a great place to play pool! But so is ball-in-hand. The only thing i did not like about that place is the smooth wood flooring. I play bare footed when i am over there.

No way! Me too for all the above...I was going to ask if you were indonesian actually...guess I was wrong...well I'm sure you would rank up there with "Singaporean" collectors. I'm not going to be there when you visit, I am in Chicago actually.
