Monica is also a favorite player of mine so:confused: about who to root for....so I just didn't root. Did they ever say what was wrong with Helena?
Keep working hard at your game, you'll get em in NC! Do you have anything scheduled before then?

Thanks Terry. I didn't play too bad over the weekend. I definitely can't complain. The rolls just didn't go my way I guess. It was a fun tournament though.

I'm getting ready for NC. I am heading to Atlanta for a little while to hang out with Monica and Helena and then possibly on to Florida for a little while. I think being around good, serious players will help me be more prepared for the tournament in NC.

Second place is still very cool, and as long as you had fun...

When are you heading down to Florida? In the next week or 2, they are having some type of regional qualifier, the winner getting the next year all paid for WPBA circuit, if I understand correctly how the tourney qualifications work. Are you going down there to hang out and watch?

Two of our Seattle girls are headed down there. Also, 1 Canadian and someone else I don't remember.

You are right, second is still cool. But I think I might change my name to Second place Sarah. Scott Frost and I also took second in the scotch doubles tournament at Music City. We lost hill-hill to Monica and Gabe.

My plans are still up in the air. I have heard about the tournament in Florida. I can't play in it, but it will be an interesting tournament. I'm glad they decided to have it again. It is a great opportunity for the player that wins...entry into all of the pro tournaments.

Congrats on the 2nd place finish over the weekend. A hill-hill final sounds pretty exciting....you'll get her next time. It sounds like you did a bit better than when you and Monica played that big stakes match at the DCC.....are you working on a t-shirt for the N.C. tourney? I'm the person who was chatting with Gabe while you two were playing the big match. Looking forward to seeing you play at the Great Lakes Classic in Michigan City, Indiana in a few weeks. I'll be sure to introduce myself.

Thanks ragbug. I kind of can picture who you are. Yes, that high stakes match. I'm trying to think of a good t-shirt to wear. I will have to get payback for sure. I should have done the same bet on the final match. At least then I would have won a set. :) Definitely be sure to introduce yourself in Michigan City. You will also get to see the t-shirt...I'm supposed to wear it for a couple tournaments...geez I need to learn how to gamble better.

I thought it was only the next WPBA event....not a few. Well, at least when you gambled on this, you didn't lose the shirt off your back.....you added an additional shirt to your wardrobe. Plus, you got off "the skunk" (with some sharking from Vivian) so you don't have to decorate both the front and back. Is the picture on the front page of AZ right now the one Monica was laughing about? If so, maybe you should use that one. Looking forward to visiting with you in Michigan City. Thanks Jeff. I guess it was a good start to the year. I wish I could have started it off with a win in either tournament. We had he scotch doubles tournament won...we were winning 4-0 and ended up losing hill-hill. Oh well. Scott is a good partner...we just had a hard time closing it out. No sparks though...sorry to disappoint.

First off good job finishing second. also Sarah, lost touch with you and everyone. Was wondering have you heard anything about that barnheart. I wanted to get another plain four point hustler.
 
I was rooting for rousey too, just because she replied to me on myspace. At the DCC I saw her play a few she is quite methodical. I wish I could have stayed for more but from what I saw she kept the warm up room on the East kinda of busy. She looks better in person too(unnecessary remark) but her pictures dont do her as much justice as they should.

Congrats on the second , dont worry as I told you before I see good things coming your way , After meeting with you on a daily basis and watching you shoot and practice with the desire I seen in your eyes the wins will be piling up on you before you know it . I dont see a second place Sarah all I see is a champion in progress !

Justnum...thank you for your kind words. Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you. I did stay pretty busy at all hours at DCC. Thanks for the photo compliment.
