Horizontal Cue Storage

While I am waiting for my tax overpayment to be returned home (some people call it a tax refund but it is not) I have been looking at tables. I was looking at new Olhausen tables yesterday.

With some Olhausen models you can get a sliding drawer below the table. It slides out and has storage for balls, a cue rack, table brushes etc. I like this idea because my space is limited.

With the cue storage rack being horizontal I am concerned about cues warping. Is this a legitimate concern?

I don't think it's really a problem. If it 's a 2-piece cue, I'd break it down first. Imporoper cue storage is leaning it in a corner. When you do this, the cue is only supported by the tip and the bumper on the other end. When you support wood by both end, it has a tendency to sag or warp in the middle.
