Why You Should Support The Viking Tour
and Not The Micro-Tours

The Viking Tour is the only tour that operates in many major market places in the United States. Our major market cities include:

Atlanta, Chicago, Tampa, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, Cincinnati, Nashville, Charlotte, Knoxville, and more.

The Micro-Tours operate in about less than 1/20th the market size of the Viking Tour. This means your exposure and advertising value is about twenty times more with the Viking Tour than any other tour of this caliber.

Before you decide to host or sponsor any other tour call the Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour for competitive pricing that is sure to blow our competition away.

For the room owners we GUARANTEE a profitable event backed by our sponsors products and for our sponsors we GUARANTEE more promotion for your product than any other tour of this caliber.

Hey Mike

Hey Mike,

Did you ever get a hold of Harrison Todd here at Paradise?

Is he interested? I haven't heard anything from him, and I haven't heard anything from you. So I was just wondering if you all ever got to chat about it?

Thanks!

Telephone tag has been the only communication thus far.

I am not really supposed to announce this yet but.........

The Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour will soon be announcing our website. One of the best things about the website is that it will include a store to purchase products.

That is not the best part.

The BEST part is that the store will guarantee to give the profits directly to pool tournaments.

Now who's your daddy !

Dammit! I guess I will have to go ring him around the neck and get him to call you. Can you PM me the number you want him to call?

michigan

hey mike hows it going?? when are you going to have some events in michigan?? hall of fame has changed hands and i thought you had mentioned trying to get a tournament there. for some reason the turn out has been low for the viking tournaments in the past. at least what i remember. at the rack , it seeems to me there was less than 30. i could be wrong but it was not like the other tournaments you mention. i would love to have an amatuer event close by. i don't understand though, we had a handicapped tournament and drew 96 player at hof, but we seem to have no more than 30 at any big tournament that ever came to michigan. why do peaople not get up there and play. show some support. if you ever need someone to help in any way on the michigan seen, let me know. i would love to try and help us around here to get the 70 or 100 player fields. i will eventually make it to one of your tournamnets in indiana. thanks, best of luck.

I think what you are doing with the Viking Tour is fantastic and I wish you nothing but continued success.

But, I've said it before and I'll say it again - there are no western U.S. locations in your list. I could almost guarantee (90% - 95%) if you came to Arizona or California, you would get fabulous turnouts with excellent caliber players.

Sometimes, when there is no alternative (and you live in the western U.S.), you have no choice but to support the mini-tours that are out here. Plain and simple. Mike Howerton has done a fantastic job with the Olhausen Desert All Around tour here in Arizona (along with many of the room owners here in Phoenix), and has literally revived top level pool in Phoenix and the surrounding metro areas. It's not about 'not wanting' to support your tour, it can sometimes just be about availibility (within 500 miles or so).

I definitely hope that you consider coming out west soon (preferably AZ or CA), but I realize this takes time and more manpower than you currently may have available. Here's to hoping... and best of luck to you.

MI has not been a good territory for us since the 90's. The last great events we had in that area were at Snookers' and Bogarts.

I will try to contact HOF but I am not holding my breath. Can you please PM me the new owners name and contact info.

Thanks,

Mj
