Old house cues, Valley, Brunswick, e.a. Smidt, and a dozen other makers. I use these for recycled shafts, cut just above the points where they are plenty thick and recut them. 40 to 60 year old wood makes some great shafts. also convert some of the prettier butt woods, and make sneaky petes, and its not bad when you need a really great piece of fully cured wood to use as a core, nice to have some 50 year old wood.
