Just wanted to let everyone know that The Houston Open WILL go on as scheduled!!!

There was some roof damage from Ike, but not enough to effect the event!

Legends and Hotels in the area have power,water & sewer!!! Most will be back online by next week!!

CALL SUPER 8 NOW!!!!! or your favorite hotel. rooms will be filling rapidly by relief workers.

I finally spoke to Mindy with Legends in League City.

They are opening today!! This is great news, however the entire area is not as fortunate. The lodging that is open is packed with evacuees. This WILL not change much in the next few weeks.

There is a HIGH likelihood that the Houston Open will attempt to change dates!

As soon as information is available, I will post it.

Ironman talked to Bill Fuller eariler today. Bill said according to Ted Dean that the Houston Open will be rescheduled for a later date, possibly November.

I know a lot of people going to this tournament and I also know at least one friend that just made a reservation on Thursday for a room close by. She had no trouble getting a decent rate or a room.
