Heading down to TX what rooms are good in Houston

I like to play 14.1 myself

I Prefer GC or Diamond 9' might play in a weeknight

Depends on the area of town - I personally like Big Tyme Billiards on Cypresswood/I-45 (far north).

Agree regarding Big Tyme Billiards. It is not far from the IAH airport if you are coming via plane.

Bogies is real close to IAH. There is a good room about 15 min south of HOU airport.
Don't forget to bring a gas mask, all the rooms will choke you from cigarette smoke
