How are Conelly tables?

I've been looking at buying a new table for a while and have found a good deal on a nice 4x8 Conelly table, I'm going to look at it tomorrow and was just wondering how they play? I love the way they look and remembering seeing them at this years BCA Open.

They are really looking nice. I've been playing on some of them (9 footers) and they had one huge flaw - they throwing the balls out of pockets back on the table quite offten (with hard speed of course) I'm not sure whether they fix that or not. Some of the WPBA tournaments are played on those tables.

I concur with the spitting balls back out. My home room has some Connelly Ultimates, and they spit balls back out with regularity. Also, I guess I've been spoiled by the wide rails of Diamonds and GCIV's because I can't stand the rails on a Connelly. There's no room.

in vegas for the BCA open they had to put weather stripping tape on the back of the pockets to help keep the balls from coming out. on tv if you watch the players keep reaching into the back of the pocket, they are making sure the stripping stays there.

Oh yes, thats to, when a ball hit a rail it jumps in the ear.

I wish I had that problem ... the 9' National table I was playing at Pacific Billiards wouldn't let the balls in at all !

Thanks for the info everyone, I'll hit some balls on the table and decide, it's a hard deal to turn down :confused:
