how close before parallax vision gets you

how close can you get to the object ball before you start seeing double? And do you have a strong dominant eye? Just curious...not meant to be an aiming thread :)

With me it depends on how well I've managed to keep my diabetes under control. The range for me would be 6"-8" closest to ohh about 3 feet off the edge of the table (lol).If I'm drinking that also has a negative effect. :p

remember when you were a kid and you put the tips of your index fingers together right in front of your face and looked at the 'hot dog' in the middle? same idea.

it happens about 12" actualy about 3" in front of me..then I can pull my fingers back to about 12" with that effect but, my eyes wont let it happen for long though, my left eye is dominate, but I can feel my right eye correct and when it does, I dont get that effect at all... interesting though..

I shoot left handed, and left eye dominant, found that out when learning golf. I have a tape measure, and the hotdog thingy starts exactly.....................17.5 inches from my nose!.....not sure what I can do with this new info, but know another piece of knowledge to shove into an over burdened brain!.:)..Gerry
 
i see the cueball like this all the time, only way to get rid of it is close one eye and it isn't a good idea to shoot with one eye so i put this into my aiming but i wish i didn't happen.
