How do cue makers ID their cues?

I have many cues (cue collection) that came to me as "unknown" maker and with no apparent markings to tell who made it. Other than general appearance, ie., the way the points are made, the kind of wrap, type screw, type bumper, etc., are there other ways to know who made the cue?
it would be helpful to know where some of the custom cue makers place their "signature" or ID, such as written under the wrap, etc..
Can any of you help by revealing where you've found markings and by whom?
Thanks!

Cue identification

Many cuemakers sign their cues. Others use logos typically on the butt cap. A few sign under the wrap and still others under the bumper. Some initial inside the joint face to keep shafts mated with butts.

Some cuemakers construction methods are distinct and between their methods and materials, it is easy to identify their work. Some experts exist and do authentication work for cues that resemble those within their specialty.

The Blue Book of Cue Values has hundreds of photos and identification data for many, if not most cuemakers.

I suggest you start with digital pictures and post them here on AZ. The body of members who will look at your cues has a vast combined knowledge and I expect that many, like myself, enjoy a cue identification challenge.

If you cannot post pics, feel free to e-mail me directly and I will help you post them or try to instruct you on how to do it yourself.
