How do I identify a TEX cue?

The ones I saw in the hands of PA players years ago weren't marked, IIRC.
Well this is going to be an older one. So does anyone know if there is something that will identify it? Butt, joint, pin? Anything?
I don't think Tex cues are well known outside of PA. I've never even knowingly seen one outside the NY & PA.
At the time I asked I didn't realize I could. Now that I own the cue I'm actually sure it is his. Pin and ring work are the same. After I found out he was an AZ member I asked him if he could refinish it. Still waiting on the answer.
I played with it last night...very sweet player.
Lee.. please post a picture of the cue here on the forum.. there are not many of his cues around anymore.. i have never ever seen a sp version so i will really enjoy viewing your cue.. most of Tex's cues have his trademark points.. basically a spearheaded type of point (slighty larger) but the veeneers go from the base of the points to the buttom of the diamond spearhead... Tex always commented on how they were his trademark point design.. i also heard stories that he used to make blanks for alot of well known cue makers back in the late 70s and early 80s. he deffinatly is a master of the craft.. only if he would have kept making cues through the 80's and 90's he would have been more well known... then he made a special batch of cues a few years ago.. which were the ones most ppl have here on the forum as of late..
