How do I turn off all avatars?

Ive looked and looked for two days and cant figure out how to turn em off. There are some avatars that are not acceptable to have around at work and at home with my wife walking around. I have done my research and have failed..........help!

Go to your user control panel (top left of screen "User CP")and click on Edit Options. Go to the bottom and you'll see some checkboxes. One says Enable Avatars. Just uncheck that box.

EDIT: its in the Thread Display Options box.

I know you're joking Smorg, but if my wife and or GF did introduce me to Griswold she had better start packing, damn quick.

It's not a matter of insecurity....it's a matter of respect to girls and women. But...different people have different perceptions.

Its not that I dont like pretty girls its the fact that if my boss walks up on me while I am on this site (he doesnt care that I am online some of the day) and sees some of the avatars on here he might ask me not to surf at all due to Human Resources policies, which I understand and I respect.

Also, even though my wife doesnt care much about things like that, I dont think she should have to see that if she doesnt have to.

Im still going to keep them on unless Im at work. I feel stupid now because I looked through that page a few times and didnt see that option.
