how do you 'get ready' when you get to a tournament/match

i mean- how do you start off? how early do you show up?
do you jump in and start playing pool or do you 'drill' for a while and what do you do... A buddy of mine and i were talking last nite at a tourney and we started playing practice games right off <not doing to well for either of us> but we broke off to separate tables and started doing our rituals then went back to playing practise games and shot alot better... his 'ritual' was definitively different than mine...
i like to do some long stops in all corners, then some long draws to all corners <i'll stay on this till i get the cueball to come straight back consistently where i want it- i find this 'straightens' out my stroke if its backasswards crooked.., some cueball close to object ball shots, then some long 'rail runs' then 2 other drills that help with my position speed and helps me figure out the table speed... i do about a 1/2hr to 45 min 'ritual' .... then couple practice games with someone... then i'm ready...
what do you guys do??

Slam a few balls into the pockets mach speed to hear the ping and then flip the coin. I wish I had an Ipod though.:D

I get there about a half hour early to gage the speed of the cloth and find out how the rails are. otherwise I either play well or I don't. No amount of practise time before the tournament is going to change that, in fact I find it often hurts as you start over analizing when you miss shots.

Just get there for enough time to hit a few balls and to wear off the jetlag of driving. (if you had to drive a decent distance to get there).

Other than that, nothing else you do is gonna matter. You're either playing consistently or you're not.
