how do you know if a Titlist is worth converting?

Does the butt need to be a certain diameter?

You can have any titlist converted, as long as it's not cut up into a million wood chips.
If you want to get it converted to play with, that's one thing.
If you want to get it converted to potentially increase the value, that's another thing.

It helps to let us know why you want to convert it, then we can answer your questions.

Its more the size of the cue at the joint. Tgey taper down very fast from.a chunky 1.4" or more to barely 0.85" 28 inches up. Best to have the cuemaker you are going to use decide.
I think a few of the straight one piece Titlists need to be saved...will increase in value as more are cut down.

If you'll ask this in the Ask The Cuemaker area, you'll get some really good guidance.

I was wanting to get one coverted to play with.

Then you will need to find a cuemaker that is willing to do the conversion.

The main concern, with titlist cues, is the butt diameter.
