How do you move/ship a pool table?

Let me be more specific, how do you get a pool table shipped from one state to another? Are there professional services for this?

Ask your local pool room for a reference to a table mechanic. A good table mechanic should have the info you need and may be willing to help move the table for a fee.

That's easy. You place the pooltable onboard and make sure there's plenty of water underneath the ship. NEXT ?

You ask a good question. I was trying to buy many out of state tables and could never find a 'good' reasonably inexpensive way to have it shipped.

Ultimately I found something locally.

It seem there would be a great business opportunity for a trucking firm to move tables state to state. I could not find one!

my hubbie broke ours down yesterday and the movers moved it with all the rest of our stuff into storage until we can get a house.LOL

We are hoping to be able to afford to buy a new 9 ft in our new place, but who knows. We may have to use that cheap 8 ft we have for awhile longer, lol.
