How do you ship a pool cue?

Yeah they do but I wasn't sure about the costs but I had a feeling it was going to be ridiculously expensive. I think I may go with plshrk22's suggestion, thanks! Now I know how to appropriately price my cue. :D
I ship cues in a correct hard cue case for protection. Then ship it to the buyer fully insured. Provide him with the tracking number and your both protected.

I recently received a new shaft, shipper shipped in a real thin walled plastic tube with caps and shaft bubble wrapped so all was well but luckily I live out in the country with low traffic cause when I got home I see about 2 feet of tube sticking out of the mailbox so far that it was actually over hanging into the street a little LoL

here are my tips of the day when shipping a cue:

as always, a thick walled round tube, lots of bubble wrap and duct tape both ends...

place buyers name and shipping address and your return address on the outside covered with clear tape...

and place a copy of the buyers name, address and phone number inside the tube

AND...

label it as "construction plans" on outside of the tube - and tell the buyer what to look for.

no one want to steal "construction plans".
Brilliant!
