At our pool room, we have a couple of fist fights to decide which stream we're going to watch.

Just kidding, but it is really incredible to be able to choose from three different LIVE-STREAMS.

I really like being able to choose from the various disciplines and different commentators, although I only get to listen to the commentators when I am at home. At the pool room, they turn off the audio for the pool matches. Sometimes I just want to watch straight pool, (depends on the player) and other times I want to watch one pocket but will jump to another discipline in a heart beat.

I found all three streams looked great but would like a little more coordination in the future. Maybe have one entity to provide the UPDATED brackets. Maybe have a standard set time when the different streams are going to roll and if possible a heads-up on who's going to play on that stream next. It seemed that sometimes the commentators didn't know who would be up next.

Joey,
Some good points. At some point in the future maybe an event can have one standard "news" feed that gets randomly pushed that all parties could tap into and provide to the public. With technology there are different ways for this to happen.

Similiar to going to a baseball game and having a scoreboard in the outfield for all games. We are fortunate to see as much as we can during the larger events and coordination with all streamers would help bring numbers.

To expand further on your/I ideas, it would be great to have a livestreamer interviewing players in another area. Another person walking around just chatting with the gamblers and even another getting responses from those just sweating the event. A roaming live stream crew wouldn't be bad for an event like this, maybe with someone like Samm Diep doing the interviewing. Samm is a great interviewer whose elocution is exemplary. I think it would be fun to have a little crazy tone to some of the walking livestreamer info.

Another great thing would be to have a live streamer walking around to the scoreboards, giving updates to the minions sitting at home. This year's updates on scores, wins and losses as Sunnyone mentioned, is simply lacking.

Speaking of Sunnyone, while I have never met her in person, I would bet that she would be interesting behind the mike and a lot of fun for doing the interviews. One day, I'm going to be at an event with Sunnyone and we'll do some commentary together.

You're a balla perk. Being a unix guy has its advantages for sure.

I wrote a little .htm file that places the video and the chat side by side, stretched to the sizes that suit my monitor. I only watch 1 at a time typically. Wonder if I could get the chat window on top and semitransparent using just CSS?
