How do you WIN in this situation?

This is like judo in a way. You are letting the player beat himself. It takes more patience than most players have. Play it smart. I would like to see you win. Give yourself a chance.

as usual Great answer Chris! When playing cocky players its best to concentrate on your safes when faced with less than 60-70% shots you need to maintain your preshot rituals and concentration and most of all keep him in trouble ! Cocky players tend to get frustrated when things are not working for them and then they take chances which result in opportunities for you to get out! :eek:

I could care less about what other people think about me.

Actually, when you think about it... What *are* other people thinking about you?

Answer: They are wondering about what you are thinking about them!

Anyway I don't care what people think. If they don't like me, that is their problem. I treat everyone the same, if they are rude or nasty, then I just ignore them.

If I'm playing someone I don't like, I just do my best. That is all anyone can ask.

I always say "Have a good game!" before the match - to EVERYONE. I always offer to shake hands after the match - win or lose - to EVERYONE. (I will not sink to their level.)

Note that as you win more and more, people will not come up to you after the match and hug/kiss you! They will be ticked they lost! They do not like players who win against them. Some will get nasty.

So maybe you are playing better and better and the "nasty" is coming out of some of the other players? (They will be your best friend if you always lose!)
