How Does a Jacoby Edge Compare to Tiger X?

Hi all - first post here.

I am in the market for a new cue, and was considering getting one of the Tiger LX cues (TL6), because I have been playing with a Tiger X (original)for a few years now and really like it. It has more deflection than the Predator I used to play with (which I like), but not as much as most one piece shafts.

But then I started looking at different manufacturers, and for the money I'm willing to spend ($1500-$2000), it seems like I could get a decent custom cue, but most of the ones I've been looking at don't seem to have any kind of low deflection shaft option. But then I saw the Jacoby Hybrid Edge shafts - has anyone used these, and if so, how do they compare to Predator 314 and Tiger X?

Also - are there any other custom cue makers that offer laminated/LD shaft options? I saw the Pechauer "Crown Jewel" shafts, and those things look amazing - would love to get one of those if I could get LD shafts with it.

You don't have to look any further .

BD CUES

Bob Danielson makes the SS360 and it's one of the best LD shafts out there .

I bought a cue from him and it's all i ever dreamed of , everybody here in Belgium says my level has increased a lot since i play with my BD cue .

The new Tiger Ultra X LD is nice, however my two favorites are the Jacoby Hybrid Edge, and Bob Danielson's SS360. Jacoby and Bob will make their shafts to your specifications.
