How Germany fell in love with Snooker

When it comes to unearthing talent.....
I'm surprised that Canada hasn't produced another top class player & then there is USA & the Russians & when it comes to Europe yeah , I suppose Germany is long overdue to deliver a promising player .
Sometimes I wonder if there is a top class player living in a 3rd world country who doesn't have access to a Snooker hall that could be a top player !
