How hard is it?

I was wondering if my dream will ever come true of opening a pool hall. So I was wanting to ask the owners out there how hard it is to actually open a pool hall? I mean, for a person who doesn't have that much start up capital, but years in the business and the sport itself, and has the tables and equipment and a rock solid business plan? Just wondering how hard it is to get from the wanting to be there point, to opening up the doors once you get the green light and what exactly it takes to get that green light from your lendors if you have all the above stated items? email me on my website and I will respond quicker, thanks to any help I get.

Y'know, until I visited this forum I hadn't realized just how difficult it was to open up a pool hall. I thought that all you needed were a few pool tables, pool accessories, money and smarts. Turns out it's a lot more complicated.

Welp, so much for my sister opening up her pool hall. She's already in massive debt. But I do wish YOU lots of luck. I suppose the only advice I could give is to open in a location with low rent costs and move when you can. I've known people who have done that with unrelated businesses.
