It doesn't matter what the APA is offering them. Albeit, the APA obviously made it worth their while in some respects.
What matters is that players now have no choice. Some of you reading this may think, what's the difference between the APA, BCA, TAP or any other leagues...
There are vast differences... There are many players who will NOT play APA because of their format and scoring system. Many won't play BCA or TAP either. The point here is that players who want to choose their leagues will have to look elsewhere if they don't want to play APA,
It also indicates that the APA is obviously going to great lengths to try to corner the market in that area. Historically, competing leagues have not gotten along with each other and pulled a lot of moves to try to outrun other leagues, but in the end, it's always the player's choices that are affected. I believe that ALL leagues should have a fair shot and that the host venues should see the value in this. This is why I think it's not good
for pool to host only one league.
