as most have said...it is usually 5-6 days in my area also. i used to get a lil impatient wanting to see my teams stats asap but i got to realizing something. i get to league a 1/2 early most times. if i can not look at the scoresheets and figure out who is what and how i want to match up that night in 5 minutes or less i got a problem with my mental aptitude.
i have also played napa and saw my stats the next day but as the poster above said...you can not compare apples to oranges.
i decide to look up and see what my apa lo actually goes through. here is what i found.
101 teams play out of 32 different venues each and every week. he has drop boxes at all 32 locations. so he has to compare 202 scoresheets against each other and enter the info into the computer. and i di mean compare. i have heard more than once about failures of scorekeepers failing to mark safties ...seems like some people do not like to mark their players safties
also more than once he has made remarks to me about mine or one of my team mates level of play on a particular night. that tells me he actually digests the info on the scoresheets as he enters the info into the data base.
but wait...there is more. 81 of those 101 teams are double jeapordy so there are an additional 162 scoresheets he has to process for a total of 364 each and every week and then get the new scoresheets back to their respective 32 locations in time for next weeks match.
it sounds like quite a bit of work involved for one person....not to mention dealing with all the calls...texts and emails he gets from people complaining about theirs or their opponents handicaps each and every week.:grin-square:
